Why do I need to read the label?

Stains are a pain but you don’t want the removal to be worse than the problem! While our formula does not contain harsh oxidizing agents such as peroxide or chlorine, it does remove color "to bleach" and the key is to make sure it works on the stains and not the fabric.

If you read: "wash separately", "do not use bleach", "wash in cold water," "hand wash," or "turn inside out ", the dyes in these items are not colorfast. Any doubt we recommend (1) you do a colorfast test and (2) you fully rinse the formula out immediately after treatment so it does not sit or react with the fabric.

We also contain water, so if the label reads "dry clean only" or your fabric hates water (e.g silk or rayon) then proceed carefully. If you get a water stain then the usual measures should remove it.
